Veterinary Education: Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Lotus was born in Lexington, KY and grew up in Rockland County, NY where her parents bred Akitas for over a decade, selecting for temperament and conformation. She graduated from Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1999 and from Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed a residency with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medical College and The Rockefeller University in 2006 through which she gained extensive experience with rodents, rabbits, ferrets, pigs, and non- human primates.
